Day Two of the Region Championships brought some wet fields from last night’s storms but games went off as scheduled. The U-15 Roadkill boys dropped a hard fought 1-0 decision on Saturday morning to defending National Champion Casa Mia Bays on an own goal. The U-17 Hammerheads pushed ahead by taking a 2-0 win against the Reg. Premier League representative Western United FC of MA to help them in defending their Regional Championship. Tomorrow, the H’Heads play long time rival PDA in a game which should determine the bracket winner. The U-19 boys fell to PDA in their morning game and then bested CT 4-1 in the evening. The U-18 Fury II girls played late this afternoon and beat Vermont 1-0. The Fury will take on Maine tomorrow with the winner taking the bracket.
