U-18 Fury Girls Take Region Championship !!

The U-18 Fury II girls took care of business in a big way on Tuesday morning by besting McLean Freedom of VA 5-0 in the Region Final.  This came on the heels of their 5-0 semifinal win over PDA on Monday.   With the win, the Fury have won their first Region title and will be making their inaugural appearance at Nationals in the end of July.  Congrats to the girls and coaching staff on a great Regional Championship !!

U-17 Hammerheads Take 3rd Straight Region Championship!!

The U-17 Hammerhead boys successfully defended last year’s Region Championship by beating FC Blazers 2-1 in the 2008 USYSA Region 1 Championships this morning.  Congrats to the boys and staff on a great run and best of luck later this month at the National Champiosnhips !!

U-18 Fury II and U-17 Hammerheads Reach Region Championship Games !!

The U-18 Fury II Girls came away with a convincing 5-0 today over PDA Power in the Region Semifinal to propel them into Tuesday’s Championship game where they will play VA Champion McLean Freedom at 10 AM.  The U-17 Hammerhead Boys also had a great day as they bested the Baltimore Bays 2-1.  The Hammerheads will take on MA Champs FC Blazers at 8:15 AM in the Region Finals.  Congrats to both teams and best of luck on Tuesday’s Finals !!

U-16 and U-18 Academy Teams Complete Inaugual Season

The U-16 and U-18 Academy teams were in Greensboro, NC for the Summer Academy Showcase.  Each team played three games over the four days which completed their Academy League play for the inaugural season.  Both sides opened up on Friday against Real So. Cal. with the U-16’s falling 2-0 and the U-18s dropping a wide open 4-3 decision.        Both teams played the AFC Lightning on Sunday with the U-16’s taking a 3-1 victory and the U-18’s besting their GA  counterparts 3-0.  On Monday the U-16s played to a 2-2 draw while the U-18’s fell 5-0.   The U-16s completed their inaugural Academy season with an 8-9-12 record which was good for 5th place in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.  The U-18s finished at 10-12-7 for a 7th place conference finish.   Congrats to both teams on their season as they prepare for next year’s Academy season.

Day 3 At Regions
U-18 Fury II & U-17 Hammerheads Advance

The U-17 Hammerheads will continue  with the defense of their Region Championship by beating their long term rivals PDA 2-0 in the final day of bracket play.  The H’Heads will take on the Baltimore Bays in the semifinal on Monday at 8 AM.   The U-15 Roadkill beat Maine  4-1 and the U-19 Boys beat Vermont 2-1 but neither team will advance.  The U-18 Fury II girls took on Maine today and came away with a 4-1 win to propel them into the semis where they will play rivals PDA Power at noon.

Day 2 Complete at Regionals

Day Two of the Region Championships brought some wet fields from last night’s storms but games went off as scheduled.   The U-15 Roadkill boys dropped a hard fought 1-0 decision on Saturday morning to defending National Champion Casa Mia Bays on an own goal. The U-17 Hammerheads pushed

Teams Off To A Fast Start at Region Championships

The U-18 Fury Girls opened up Region Championship play by taking a 3-1 win against Oakwood, CT this morning. Tomorrow, the girls face Capital FC of Vermont. The U-17 Hammerhead boys

93-94 Boys Take Rider Cup Title

The U-14 boys won the Rider Cup this past weekend as the team won all  5 games without conceding a goal  the entire Tournament.   They beat LSTS FC Madrid from NJ,  Everton America from CT and  Soccer Plus from MD.  The boys beat Phila Coppa in the Semifinals in PK’s and Hans Soliz Real from NJ in  the Final.   GK Ben Weaver made one save on PK’s and all five of the FC DELCO 93-94’s made their pk’s in the semi final to allow FC DELCO to advance into the final against Hans Soliz of New Jersey where they took a 3-0 victory.

U-19 Boys and U-18 Girls Take Home State Cup Titles

On Sunday afternoon, the U-19 Boys came away with a 1-0 victory over Buckingham to take the U-19 State Cup title.  The U-18 Fury girls also took a 1-0 win over Spirit United to ensure their place at Regions.  The U-17 Storm fell to FC Bucks and the U-16 Sting lost a 1-0 heartbreaker to YMS in their State Finals.  The U-19 Boys and U-18 Fury girls will be joing the U-17 Hammerheads and U-15 Roadkill boys later this month at the Region 1 Championships in Portland, ME.

Red Bull Girls National League Season #2

In 2008/09 the RBGNL will be expanding from eighteen (18) clubs to thirty-two (32) clubs representing the nation’s best girls’ club programs entering their teams into separate U15, U16 and U17 National Leagues. U-16 Boys Cup Team Wins Players Cup Championship

The U-16 FC DELCO 91 Cup beat CASA CAPA 91 Blue in the final of the FC DELCO Players Cup with a convincing 3-0 win to take home the title. The Road to the Final wasn't easy with an overtime game winning goal scored by Clark Israel to take FC DELCO to the final over Phila. Coppa. The 91 Cup team layed it all on the line in the final with Kieran Reichert getting the games first goal, followed by Jimmy Garrison with two more goals to ease DELCO to the 3-0 win over CASA CAPA 91 Blue. Congrats to the boys on a excellent played match.

U-15 Roadkill Boys Take FC Delco Players Cup Title

The U-15 FC DELCO Roadkill boys played the newly crowned EPYSA State Cup Champion FC Brandywine in the Final of the FC DELCO Players Cup on a sun drenched gorgeous Monday morning at USTC.   The boys fell quickly behind 2-0 but roared back in the 2nd half to level the game.  With two minutes remaining, defender Dylan Sisler struck a wonderful ball from 22 yards out to seal the victory for the Roadkill.  The RK reached the final after after defeating FC Missasugua from Toronto, last year’s champion, 1-0 in the semifinal match.  Congrats to the Roadkill boys and FC Brandywine on a well played match.

Our Own Rob Smith Named Dir. of Operations of MLS Phila. !!

CHESTER, PA (May. 12, 2008) — Keystone Sports and Entertainment, LLC, just became a whole lot stronger. And more experienced.

The ownership group for Major League Soccer Philadelphia 2010 announced the hiring of two more key executives on Monday -- Rob Smith as director of operations and Dave Debusschere as chief financial officer. Both executives will officially begin their assignments on June 2.

Smith is currently the president of FC Delco
