Join FC DELCO and other clubs for the second-largest soccer tournament in Pennsylvania. Last year, over 350 teams participated in this elite event, traveling from all over the region, and all points in between. The two-day format ensures each team a good number of competitive games, as well as an event that will help prepare teams for the upcoming fall season.

Tournament Apparel – Coming Soon
The first Spirit United Kick-Off Classic took place in 1986 under the direction of the Spirit United Soccer Club of Downingtown, PA. The tournament was begun to promote excellence in soccer and sportsmanship and to provide youth soccer players with an opportunity to compete against other high caliber teams from throughout the northeastern United States. The first tournament had 34 teams and 510 players participating, primarily from the Chester County, PA area.
From this meager beginning, the tournament has grown in numbers and stature. In 2020, the tournament attracted more than 400 teams, more than 5,000 players, and more than 50,000 soccer fans. It is ranked as a Premier-level tournament (both boys and girls) by GOTsoccer.com (www.gotsoccer.com).

You may enter U13 (11v11) through U-16 teams with a maximum of 22 players; a maximum of 12 players for U9 / U10 (7v7); and U11 / U12 (9v9) teams with a maximum of 16 players. Players must be registered with a national affiliate of the USSF, typically either US Club Soccer or with their respective state or national association (US Youth Soccer, AYSO, etc), and must be born during or after the year indicated by the Age Division in which they are to compete. A maximum of five (5) guest players per team are permitted. Authorized player passes/cards will be verified against the official team roster at registration.
• Teams from outside Region I must have a ” Permission to Travel Form signed and stamped by their Association if registering using US Youth Soccer credentials.
• No such permission to travel is required for teams traveling as US Club Soccer registered teams.
Spirit United is requiring all-tournament teams and participants to reserve rooms through our designated registration system.

To complete the online check-in please follow these instructions.
1. Go to your GOTSoccer team page
2. Click on the event located under “Event Registration History”
3. Click on the “Documents” tab on the far right
4. Load Documents
The following documents must be uploaded into your team’s GOTSoccer account no later than Wednesday, August 18 for the Boys Weekend and Wednesday, August 25 for the Girls Weekend. Any changes made after the deadline may disqualify you from Online Check-In unless communicated to the Soccer office.
All uploaded files should be in PDF format. Documents uploaded in JPEG format will not be accepted. No photos of documents will be accepted.
** Documents should be uploaded as 1 file per category rather than individually scanned and uploaded.
Example:
Category 1: Official Approved Roster (with photos if available)
Category 2: Player Passes (Not necessary if roster has photos)
*MUST BE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER
Category 3: Guest Player Forms (if applicable)
Category 4: Permission to Travel (if applicable)
In addition to the above documents, the team’s coach must bring the Medical Release Forms with them to each game.
We don’t need to see Medical Release Forms at registration.
Guest Player Information
Your sanctioning board is the first contact you should make if you have questions about guest players and the forms they will need. As long as you are in good standing with them you are in good standing with our event. Continue reading for basic guest player information.
ON-LINE ROSTER REMINDER: Per tournament Rules it is mandatory that all teams must enter their rosters complete with bench personnel into the tournaments on-line scheduling system, GOTSoccer. The minimum required information is Name, Date of Birth, player ID number, Uniform number and gender.
TO ADD GUEST/CLUB PASS PLAYER: There are three ways (3) ways to add GUEST PLAYERS.
Teams whose State Association uses GOTSoccer registration system to register its players:

Guest Player Release Forms are required for all players not shown on your Approved/Certified Roster from your State/National Association.
Important Reminder: EPYS / USYS does not allow EPYS / USYS registered players to guest play for a team that is not affiliated with US Youth Soccer. All guest players on EPYS / USYS registered teams must be affiliated with EPYS / USYS or a state association of US Youth Soccer. Example:
TO RELEASE PLAYERS FROM THE EVENT ROSTER:
Roster Freeze: Even though the roster says Frozen you can continue to add or subtract players up to the team check-in. We will update all rosters prior to first game.
